Application Phase
1 Registration
>> Register a Huawei Cloud account, to be eligible for this competition:
a）Please all members register a Huawei Cloud account
b) No credit card information is required, filling in the "Payment Methods / Add Card" page may be skipped
c) Go to the Basic Information page to view your HUAWEI ID information
(Make sure you and your members are beyond age 18.)
2 Application
>> Download Application Materials (including Registration Form, Privacy Notice and Authorization Letter)
>> Fill in the form and submit it to hwceudeveloper@huaweicloud.com
a) Max 4 members per team (Excluding the team leader)
b) Participants from organization or enterprise can join one team or participate as individuals
c) Participants from university or college suggested to participate in the team competition, 3 students + 1 tutor per team
Submission Phase
Your proposal deck in English (PPT or PDF format), addressing the following:
a) You need to put forward an idea of innovation on Huawei Cloud and finish this as a proposal,on the basis that you are gonna use Huawei Cloud to build an application or website.
b) your plan to realize the idea should involve at least one of the Key technologies of Huawei Cloud.
You should make sure that the Proposal or Entry generated by you or your team are in compliant with applicable law. You or your team members shall own all rights and necessary license (including copyright), to submit them for purpose of this Competition.
Sparkoo and its affiliates are not obligated to provide any form of compensation to you or your company for the Authorized Use, and reserve the right to withdraw or claim damages from you or your company in case of third party claim to the Authorized Contents.

The deadline for submission is Feb 8th, 2023 at 23:59 (UTC +1).
1 Compress your proposal deck in a ZIP package (smaller than 500 MB).
2 Rename the Zip package and send it to eucloud@huaweicloud.com.
Renaming Format: technology field_project name_e-mail address of the team leader.
Example: EI_xxx_13000000000@huawei.com
Note: Each team or individual can submit up to three times before the deadline. The last version of project will be judged.
Shortlisting #1
The top 30-35 teams will be shortlisted for the Online Hacking phase.
At least one key technology is used in your proposal deck. Submissions are judged in terms of technical architecture, functionality, creativity, and business value.
Judges to vote based on the following criteria without knowing the information of entries owners:
1. Technical architecture (30%)
2. Functionality (20%)
3. Creativity (30%)
4. Business value (20%)
Publicity Period: Feb 11th, 2023(UTC+1)
If there are any objections, please contact eucloud@huaweicloud.com during publicity period. Huawei Team will assess upon the receipt of objections.
The finalized projects and scores will be announced by Feb 13th, 2023(UTC+1).
Onilne Hacking
Top teams will be invited to attend a series of webinars and sessions with Huawei technical experts to fully develop their product solutions and get mentorship on their proposals in Feb 14th-19th, 2023(UTC+1).

Shortlisting #2
A complete entry in a zipped package include
1 Your presentation deck in English, an optimized proposal is preferred (PPT or PDF format).
2 A 5-minute video introducing your solution or the product and its demo should be submitted before the date(can be a video file or a URL).
3 Installation package or demonstration URL or installation tool package.
You should make sure that the Proposal or Entry generated by you or your team are in compliant with applicable law. You or your team members shall own all rights and necessary license (including copyright), to submit them for purpose of this Competition.

*Tax and Payment
Cash reward refer to pre-tax amounts. Participants will be responsible for compliance with tax laws and regulations that apply to them, such as personal income tax in their own country. Huawei will not be responsible for withholding any personal income taxes.
